Speedometer limit; could my car be a 90?

I checked the thread about What did my FC come with? and it says that the 89 GXL came with a standard 150mph speedometer. The 1990 and 1991 listings says that you get a 160mph speedometer standard? Does this mean I have a 90 or a 91 and not an 89?

The 90 model year production was 12/89 through 11/90 and was VINs 800001 through 900000.
