If you're mechanically capable, you can fix it yourself. The cable's broke between the transmission and the gauge, or the gauge itself is broke (unlikely). You can get a new speedo cable from hypntyz7 (you can check out the for sale section for his listings, or pm him at hypntyz7, or email him at hypntyz@chartermi.net) That should get you back on your way, otherwise you're going to have to find someone who knows what they're doing or take it to the dealer.
