speed sensor buzzer

i have a friend with a 86 t2 j spec and it has a beeper or buzzer that comes in a about 110km/h is there any way to disable it?????????/

Always 110km/h? I havent heard of a speed buzzer on these cars before.. heh. Does it matter what gear you are in?

its in Jspec cars as they approach 112MPH

Sounds like something is wrong through if it is hitting on at 70 MPH.

There is also an over rev buzzer, could the trailing coils be aftermarket or mis-wired???

He said jspec engine, not car. That would require a buzzer of some sort being swapped into the car or some crap (or using the rev buzzer). Plus he said 110km/h not mph. Big difference.

he is in Aus... all they have is Jspec cars there.

and you will note that I converted the KPH to MPH.

yes its a jspec car its from japan and ive got the aussie version and it doenst have it. his car also has the 180km/h speed limiter like all jap cars
