speed sensor

My damn speedo cable came loose from the tranny the other day now i have nothing to judge speed by. Is this a easy fix or will i have to buy a new one from mazda?

well I know when you take the cable/gear out of the transmission, the fluid will come out with it. Make sure thats not the case before you do any more driving.

Well it's not leaking any fluid it seems as though the thread where it threads onto the tranny just pulled itself off.
