Talking Specific oil questions

First I want to say that this forum is great. Just for the record, I drive a 1988 RX7 GXL Non-turbo.

Before I pose my question, I want to first say that I have used the "search" feature to try and answer my question(s), but doing this has only raised more questions that have not already been asked in this forum (at least not to my knowledge). I have some technical background so I will try and ask my questions as clearly as possible.

#1. I have spent a GREAT deal of time reading about the whole OMP debate. Some say that using 2-stroke oil in a plastic container for an external oil reservoir (connected to the OMP) will corrode the plastic. Is this true? Would I be better off using an aluminum container for my OMP reservoir? Has anyone fabricated one?

#2. Does anyone have any pictures of their reservior OMP setup?

#3. Has anyone purchased the kit from MazdaTrix that cancels out (disables) the rear-steer feature?

I would apreciate any and all info.

Thanks

#1. I've heard of it eating the plastic away. It just depends on what kind of plastic container you use. Read this: https://www.rx7club.com/rotary-car-performance-77/diy-2-stroke-mop-write-up-pics-372329/

Oh, and where in TN are you?

#3 Yes, and it works great. Makes the rear a little more predictable. I, however, did have an FC with functional DTSS and it is a great feature. Just a little...jumpy....at times.

#1. It all depends on the type of plastic you use. It should be specifically designed to hold oil. Keep in mind that your 2 stroke oil is sold in plastic bottles.

#3. I haven't, but a lot of people here have and they say it works great. Personally I want to replace my rear-steer when it breaks. But the rear steer eliminator bushings are a cheap way to get rid of a broken rear steer, which is very dangerous to drive around with.
