a-spec & j-spec 1/8 npt different?
has anyone had any problems connecting a-spec and j-spec npt parts together? i have a sard fpr from japan with earl's fittings. all the american stuff fits together perfectly but doesn't mate well with the fpr. and it's the same with my greddy oil filter pedistal. it doesn't mate very well with the american defi temp gauge.

i've never heard of bsp but that would explain why it wouldn't mate well with the npt stuff. so i should've used 1/8 bsp to -6 an assuming there is such a thing?

BSP = British Standard Pipe
1/8"BSP - 28 looks very similar in appearance to 1/8"NPT - 27.
In fact, you can probably screw in a 1/8"NPT - 27 into a 1/8"BSP - 28 and vice versa about 50% of the way before it starts to tighten up.
Our stock oil pressure senders are 1/8"BSP - 28.
