Speaker question,

Do i have the Bose system? I have speakers under the dash, in the door, and in the rear towers.

The car is a 90 GXL auto.

I'm having a problem replacing the speakers. I have replaced the rears with no problem but i just bought some pioneer 6.5's for the doors and they sound distorted, they seem to get all bass (prolly how they were set up) but they sound really bad and they're new. Is there a certain speaker to get? The owner before cut the stock door speaker holes so maybe they werent 6.5 originally but they fit right.

Does your car still have the stock amp? My 89 had one in the dash under the glove box. If it does just take it out and plug the two line connectors together. Stock door size was 5 1/4, and can take 6's w/ out mod.

No, thankfully no bose systems were available for the FC.

No highs...

No lows...
