sparkplug wires problem

ok, so i just replaced my oem wires with some msd ignition wires....when i start the car, the temp gauge runs off the chart! i thought i hooked up the wrong trailing/leading, so i switched it and it still has that problem...help!?!?!

Sounds like something that has nothing to do with the plug wires at all....
For example, when I changed my clutch, I thought I somehow lost all oil pressure because i knocked the wire off the oil pressure sender..
Check to make everything else is still hooked up right.

yep. what mikaz said.
just check over everythign and go from there.

also, pull into a garage or wait until it's dark out. when it's dark, start your car and look at all of your plug wires to make sure they aren't arching to the engine or somewhere else. I've had a factory fault wire set before. you can actually see the spark making contact and grounding out.

not sure what happened but the problem went away by itself....
