Spark plugs on an S4 13B

My friend got a beater 88 GTU RX-7 for practically nothing, it was running when he bought it and now its not he asked me to look at it and said his dad was a mechanic, well we noticed instantly it had no spark, and reccomended getting new plugs and plug wires so he got them and he wants us to do the repair, so I need to know a few things

1. Are the spark plugs on S4 13B's in the same place as an S5 cause when I was looking at his engine I noticed a few things different

2. Can I use silicone lubricant as anti-seize compund? If not what should I use?

3. Should I tell him to by a rotar cap also? It could be as simple as that?

1. Yes.

2. No. Use anti-seize Go to the autoparts store.

3. No, unless you've run the FSM tests to prove that the CAS is bad, replacing it is pointless. Do make sure it's plugged in.

There is no rotor cap. the s4+ 13b's do not have one

Otherwise, you're good to go. Just make sure you ONLY get the NGK plugs. Incredibly enough, the cheapest prices are at the dealer here in canada, not sure if thats the same for you.
