spark plug questions
1st question: which coil (one is next to the battery/fender and the other next to the strut/firewall/fender) is for the leading plugs and which one is for the trailing plugs ?
2nd question: What happens if you use 4 leading plugs ?, any ill effects ?, power loss ??
I posted this in the tech area, but no traffic there.
Thanks !

The coil by the battery fender is for the leading/lower plugs. And the coil by the strut/firewall is for the trailing/top plugs.
As for running with all leading plugs, well when i bought my car it was running on all leading. When i got the right plugs for it there was a slight difference in power, so i guess it would drop a bit, but not really noticable. If there is any ill effects with running all leading i never noticed or heard of anything.

I've heard of some people running all 9's (which is the trailing). I've never heard of using all leading plugs. Mostly in turbo applications.
Ditto on the leading up front, trailing by the firewall. It should also be printed on where each wire connects - L1, L2, T1, T2.

Thanks again for the help.
I did notice the L1 L2 and T1 T2markings on the coils (never knew about that).
I had all Leading plugs in, thanks to some dumbass mechanic... LONG story
I did the ATF trick, it feels a bit smoother. The car didn't want to start with the old plugs, even though I tried to dry them as best I could. So I had another set of old plugs and it fired right up smoked.
Right now I'm doing another ATF treatment putting in new plugs and then finish changing oil and filter.
