Spark plug question...

Searched...maybe I don't know the right search terms but didn't see anything except flooding/running issues.

I've had a few sevens before...had a lot, actually...and always got a particular kind of spark plug from AutoZone. They had flat heads around the electrode, in four sections. I just hit advance for plugs and the ones that they pulled up, that matched what the computer said was compatible, were just like the plugs in my Bimmer.

Has it become okay to use standard plugs?

need part numbers and brands, where you bought them from doesn't mean dick.

How about this?

Where it came from isn't supposed to mean dick...since it had nothing to do with my question.

You're currently running them? If so, then yeah, that helps...I was told in the beginning of my RX-7 years that the standard plugs would strike the apex seals and I just ran with that...

I haven't heard of that problem yet, nor has it happened. But I am driving in a car with an OG mileage above 180,xxx, so right now anything can happen!

part number is correct for FD3S, but the picture isn't. did he physically show you the spark plug or just a picture?

should always have the castle top on them. If they are not that way you got the wrong plugs

standard electrode armature plugs don't work as well as the OEM NGKs do, it's only necessary if you need to run a hotter plug, IE are running well over 350WHP where you have to use NGK racing plugs. they gave you some off brand that may work, but not as well.
