spark plug question
So i'm trying to get my jspec running. . . I pulled the leading plugs i had installed a day earlier and the front was silver and dry but the rear was bronzed and wet. what/does this mean anything?
And where does this ring terminal go? it comes off the power harness near the firewall.
TIA

That ring terminal is some type of ground. I've seen it on my car but I'm unsure of its importance. Clean off the plugs and try again and see what happens. Flooding is common for engines that have sat for awhile. I hope your j-spec is good.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
That thing you call a terminal is the condensor for the oil sender. It prevents the gauage and sender from blowing out in event of a short. There should be a black wire on it, that plugs into the harness near the oil filler and a yellow/red wire there.
It should be mounted near the clutch slave, and is covered in the FAQ for FC. You will want to read the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this, the 2nd gen RX-7 technical section before posting.
