WA Spark plug help pls

Okay so I've been told for an 86 n/a the leading plugs are on the bottom. And the trailing are on the top. Correct? And then I've also been told that the trailing and leading plugs are supposed to be different. The trailing are hotter plugs? Is this all correct?

Okay so the lowers are leading and the tops are trailing. Gotthat now. But now I still need to know if I'm correct about the plugs being different. If the trailing are different size or hotter. In the book I got it says that the type of spark plugs for the trailing are a hotter type of plug. Is this true?

Spark plugs are both physically the same size. Trailing is typically a "hotter" plug.

There are marks on the plugs indicating which are which too. They will have a little "L" or a "T" on them to identify them.
