2day i was talking to my gay **** ricer freind who owns a rice 1995 accord.....he was telling me that he was gonna slap on a BOV on his CAI pipe.....i was like WTF, u aint gonna get tha PSSSHH sound anyways.... What is that gonna do??

Isnt it completely useless to add a BOV on a non turbo car??...I wonder if itll mess anything up.......

 

I am sorry to say it, but YOUR FRIEND IS RETARDED!!! The BOV will do nothing in an N/A car, being that it NEEDS boost to work. Otherwise, you're just pissin' in the wind, putting a restriction in the CAI pipe and such. If you have any other questions, refer to first sentence in this post

tell your retard friend that BOV's work on via PRESSURE. his intake pipe is an INTAKE pipe (read: sucks, doesnt blow)

 

the purpose of a BOV is to get rid of excess pressure in your intake. (may be simpler to explain to your window licker friend)

 

tell him this...take his CAI....seal off the filter end of it....then take one of those portable tire pumps(the type that plugs into the cig plug) route that into the "cai" then attach the bov....and then tell him to make the pssssshhhh sound with his mouth while shiftin....
