on the split air pipe off the cat. it runs to a little hose that i was told to use to make 5th and 6th ports open and the other has a cone chaped thing on it that runs to the back of the motor ok the hose thing is broken off the cone running to the back of the motor and it has a fan lookin thing in that is rusted also air just kinda sputters out of it is it suspose to be free flowing air from cone and is it importaint ? also could it not being hooked up be the reason for my 5th and 6th ports not opening

 

Yes the reason your 5th and 6th ports are not opening is because that pipe is not hooked up. Your ports open with exhaust backpressure. That little pipe runs from your catylitic converter to your exhaust manifold. The pipe is also used to heat up the cat to help lower emissions. You might have to take your exhaust manifold off to weld that little pipe back in. Good luck. P.S. Clean the actuators on your 5th and 6th ports to make sure they are gonna open once the split air pipe is working again. Aaron Cake has a good write up on his site on how to do it.
