I have encountered something strange. If I am in boost and then need for some reason to let off the gas and immediately apply the brakes, they do not want to work. The point where the peddle starts applying the brakes seems to be alot higher during that time, and hard to push down. During normal driving there doesn't seem to be a problem.

Could this be early signs that my brake booster, or master cylinder are going south?

 

its probably the check valve in the brake booster line.
its suppose to only let vacuum in or out depending on how you see it.

 

You're right. I just went and checked, and sure enough someone along the line had replaced that hose, but not the check valve. I'll see if I can pick one up at the parts store.
