Unhappy Someone please help, i just want to drive her!!

So here is the story i drive a 88 fc vert with a rew swap with rew trans and harness. When i got the rew harness it was already cut so i spliced everything back together. Well car starts up first try all the time, just when it does it jumps to 5k rpm (this is now). Before this during this past week everytime i started it it would jump to 4k on idle and it would bog out everytime i hit the gas. So i pulled the codes and got code 23, 26, 34, 38, 54, and 73. Im not worried about 38 and 54 because i removed the air pump and dont want the AWS. Anyways i check all my wires and found out i had some backwards and put them right, now they are correct and i tried starting it this morning and now it goes to 5k rpm on start like i said above and it still bogs out when i hit the gas. Im guessing the bogging down is because of that secondary rear injector, but why is it reving so high on idle? i made block off plates for the air pump holes when i was putting the car together, but im pretty sure that has nothing to do with it. Other then that there is no modification. So i pulled the codes again this morning and the only ones showing are 38, 54, and 73. Again dont care about the first two just 73, could 73 make my car idle that high? I also thought the AWS might be stuck so i just unplugged it and i check the resistance on the idle control solenoid and its in spec. So if anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it, also if you need anymore info to help me diagnose it i will be more then happy to supply the info. Thanks in advance.

Relocated. I relocated this as the 3rd Gen guys aren't going to be too familiar with what's required for the REW swap. The 38 and 54 codes shouldn't really cause an issue. The 73 would be a problem.

Didn't you claim that you would have this car finished long ago? Now do you see how right we were?

i already did the swap i just need to get the fd motor running good, it runs just needs tweaking and yes i did and it is done, just needs tweaking. Not to put my info out there but been going through some pretty serious stuff and havent had the time to wrench on it. and yes im on the stock ecu and no mods. i had put it in the 3rd gen section cuz what i need to know is 3rd gen info, i dont know how many fc guys have a rew in their car so i figured i would get more help out of the 3rd gen guys and your right k-tune it took a little longer then i thought it would but i still got it done

I think you still have wiring issues. The easiest thing to do would be to see if you can borrow someone's PFC to make sure all the sensors are within the correct ranges. I've seen many cases where the wiring was repaired, but the signal was not being received by the ECU properly. I would wager a new wiring harness would fix all your issues, but I doubt you are willing to spend the money on one.

As for the idle, have you tried adjusting the idle control mechanisms on the throttle body as well as making sure the TPS is adjusted properly?

no this is not the KID that was offending everyone. This is the guy that was joking, like i told everyone that i "offended" i am sorry if you took it that way but i was not trying to offend anyone just messing around. Again by saying this, I AM NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYONE, but if you do not have anything to post about to the topic keep your smart remarks to yourself. Im just trying to get some friendly help and believe me i fully appreciate all the help from the ones who have helped me and dont appreciate the ones wasting space. Lets be mature and only put things that help, thank you. Again not trying to offend anyone.

Damn, so much tension... good luck with making it flawless, its cool to hear of an REW in an fc. Especially in a vert.

i figured out why it was idling high, its cause the throttle cable was getting stuck so no more high idle. The injector wasnt working cause the connector that goes to it was cracked from heat and one side if the clip was allowing a wire to slide out of it. So all i did for now was push it back in and tape it. So She is all good now back to drifting, im so excited lol thanks for everyone that helped out
