some things disconnected, need help.
I recently bought this '87 TII. It runs great, but it is having a problem with not starting when its cold.
While checking the water thermo sensor to make sure it was connected, I noticed some stuff that was disconnected. I would like to figure out what this stuff is and what it goes to so I can get it reconnected. (unless it was disconnected for a good reason?) So I would realllly appreciate some help here identifying what these things are.
Here are some photos:
In this one, you can see something that looks like it should have a vacuum hose attached. It is maybe 5 inches below and a few inches behind the water thermo sensor. What is this? Was it possibly disconnected for some good reason by one of the P.O.s, or should it be reconnected (and reconnected to what?)
Ok, to me it seems like there really should be something connected to this. What the heck is it and what does it connect to?

Here are two sensors to the left of the ABS unit (part of the ABS unit can be seen in the lower left of this image) Here are two sensors that are disconnected and I assume should be reconnected. Again, what are these?
I know that this questions might seem silly or obvious to many of you who are knowledgeable about these cars, but this is my first RX7, so I just dont know these things. I would really appreciate your help so that I can get my car 100%.

Looks like pic 1 is a vacuum line left over from the emissions removal. I believe that it attaches to a solenoid that is attached on the rats nest. Forgot which one. It should be tack welded to the oil feed line from the front plate.
Pic 2
If you dont have an air pump then number 2 is useless. It seems that the previous owner removed most of the emissions and didnt do a thorough job. Thats is the acv . If you dont have a air pump make/buy a block off plate and remove that as well. It only takes up space and gets in the way when you want to remove the turbo.
Pic 3 I cant really make out what it is. that looks to be right around the area for the cold start assist. I could be wrong as I cant make out what it is. If I could see a closer pic I might be able to make out what it is.

Thanks for your help. You have alleviated my worries somewhat since I know that the first two things should be disconnected since the emissions/air pump were removed.
I also reconnected one of those sensors, which seems to have helped with the car starting when its cold (which I guess would jive with you saying that its part of the cold start assist). I just have to see about that other sensor...
As far as that vacuum line which should be be tack welded to the oil feed line, I am a bit confused about this. Aren't vacuum lines and oil lines totally different? I'm not disagreeing here, just confused about what your saying.
I take it that it would be bad to just block it off?

the line im talking about is mated with another line that feeds the turbo with oil. They run the same route across the engine and are tack welded together. Like 2 lines mated side by side.
