Need opinions/suggestions for TII swap

Ok guys, you can bash me if you want, I don't hang out much in this section, mostly in the NE section. Please excuse my retardness, as I have been out of the loop for 2 years.

I WANT to do a TII swap into an 88 SE. I am getting the car this Saturday or Sunday. Reason being I want to do this, the car is dirt cheap, and it just had bodywork done and a full paint job. All rust removal was done, and door jams, rear hatch, and along the hood lines were painted. It is pretty much a professional paint job. The car is motorless which is a good thing, so that saves some time.

However, I run into a few problems. They are probably very simple answers, and I am sure I will think of more questions later on.

I am pretty much going with the S5 Turbo II engine, given it's simplicity, more power, better OMP(run premix?). Also, pretty much going with alot of the racing beat products, because I can trust them alot, and they are praised alot in the entire community; sticking with them for suspension, and the cat-back exhaust. Struts going to go with KYB AGX's, as the front struts are already KYB AGX's. Sway bars going with racing beat also.

My power goal is going to be very small, and it will be kept "stock" as far as turbo, and motor goes for as long as possible. My power goal will be no more than 260rwhp on the stock turbo and motor. Is this even possible?

I won't be racing the car very often. I would plan on racing the car down the strip a few times, just to see what happens with it. I just want it to look good, and sound good. I don't really care that much for straight line racing, I like road, and auto-x.

A few questions I run into however:

1.)Will the racing beat cat-back exhaust(pt.#16418) actually fit underneath the SE? Same "mounting" points, or I am going to run into fitment problems?

2.)Do I really need a FCD, or is it already "built in"? If there is a FCD built in, is it not worth a damn?

3.)What clutch would anyone of you recommend based on my small power goal at the beginning, but the clutch would still be useable later on, if I want to up the power? Or does the stock clutch hold up well enough? Same thing with flywheel?

4.)Springs? Again, I will not be racing the car alot, so would lowering springs just "lower" the car, or is going to help with handling aspects?

5.)ECU? Smart thing would be to change out the ECU for something aftermarket? But what? I was just thinking of going with the Haltech E6k, or go ahead and experiment with a MegaSquirt?

6.)TII rearend is probably going to be the biggest pain it seems. If I full pull out the 88 SE's rear end, axles, driveshaft, and trans; could a TII drivetrain "swap" right in, or is there some fabrication needed?

Now, from where I am getting the engine from? Obviously going with a used engine. Any place you all would recommend to me? I have check rotaryshack.com and I know of only one person who got a 13b-RE from there, and said it was great service. But is there anyone else?

Anything else you could recommend, would be awesome. Again, sorry for my retardedness.

I will probably think of other things as I research more, and do some more brainstorming.

Oh yeah, and don't tell me to buy a TII, I already thought of that, and that is just no fun at all.

EDIT: I already read the thread in the archives by the way.

I've got an RB cat-back on my 86' GXL with 0 fitment issues. It hangs from the same rubber bands and will hook right up to the stock cat.

Mine is an NA RB cat-back exhaust. The turbo RB cat-back is probably the same, fitment wise.

The RB TII catback is larger diameter piping than the N/A pipes. the hangers will work but linking the TII catback to N/A pipes will need some fab, unless you put a full TII exhaust on it. also www.rx7world.com has 3 stages of rebuilt engines and even JDM or fully new engines.

Scrapped the idea. Found a free S5 that was involved in a bad front accident, but motor is fine, excellent compression, and the motor has between 15-20k miles on it.

If anyone wants some parts, feel free to PM me and I will get to it as soon I can. Parts already called for is motor, ecu, harnesses, entire drivetrain, rear spoiler, mirrors, and door handles. Everything interior wise is up for sale, and the interior is in really good shape, just a little dirty. Car had 77k original miles on it.

EDIT:

Oh yeah, I am not 100% sure of the model, but it has a sunroof, power everything, cruise, 5spd, blue interior, rear privacy cover.

Would not let me edit, the model is a GXL, and I just remembered, the seats are pretty beat up, as far as drivers side goes. Oh, and I am taking the rotors, and calipers. I want those 10.9inch rotors off the front, and the rear 10.7's.
