haha yeah 200 does seem low but it was many things that was causing it, one i was running a silencer tip in the muffler 3in piping to a 1 in outlet doesn't help, dyno numbers will be coming soon, planing for 275 at 13 psi, maybe more with the water/methanol injection and more boost.
I want to break 300 whp with the stock S5 Tii turbo

Trans was the original trans so go figure, i got a rebuilt trans in my garage waiting to get a new clutch/flywheel to put in first. I currently have a Centerforce Dual Friction that is slipping now since i replaced the diff mount.

yea you people say 200 at 11psi is low, well that was with his top mount "interheater", not enough fuel, completely untuned, timing was beyond retarded, and that was at 6,000rpms where he had to let off cause it went waaay too lean... geez you people love everything until it doesnt serve up your needs of satisfaction right off the bat. i've been in his car many times during highway pulls and races and there's no doubt he's atleast making 250rwhp. this car is fuggin fast! just calm it down and you'll see what this setup can really do. we've gone thru sooooo many bugs and drawbacks and are slowly correcting each issue. what do you expect from something that is hardly done by the rx7 enthusiast? i'm still trying to get him to carb it like mine

there is a money issue too... well for turbo 12a setups there is.. but i dont know if i agree with the change to carb if you are already FI.
but knowing this guy and the kinda stuff he pulls out of his *** when it comes to setups... it just might work. lol

cheap, but more hassle to set up than a carb. yes he already has FI, why would he go to a carb? to reach his power goals for only a few hundred bucks. my carb'd 12a turbo cranks 10x faster than his setup now, it drives 100% smoother than his current setup, and its possible i could make around the same power he will and i'm using the stock carb and i've only been tuning it for a couple days. he can get a boost prepped holley on there capable of handling up to 900hp for only a few hundred bucks. a diy megasuirt starts off cheap, but all the crap you end up going thru adds up quick. i frequent the ms forums and it's not as quick and cheap as it is made out to be.

he would keep his current fuel pump and regulator (different spring), the manifold goes cheap as hell on ebay every week. the carb itself is simple. get a good used holley 4150 double pumper, rebuild and boost prep it. only a couple hundred bux max in the end for the carb. i already have the full jet kit so tuning is a matter of hours. i also already have a carb hat that fits. sooooo yea, it would be cheap as fuggin nawls. and he would never have to worry about not having enough fuel for whatever horsepower. drivability stays just as good if not better than his current state. there are lots of happy blowthru owners on this site. they make gobs of power for very little money. there is no doubt that a well set up stand alone with the right pieces is better. but its just too much $$$ for some of us. eventually i may step up if i can get a 13b to 12a intake adaptor. i've already planned it out, i just gotta get a couple grand to blow.

I'm gong to try to get it all running fuel injected and then swap to a blow through carb setup and see which one yields more horsepower.
Oh yeah might have some dyno numbers come sat.
