Some comments on the TEIN HA set-up

Just wanna share my experience with the TEIN HA's...

First of all I own a vert, and it's quite hard to find a coilover set-up that can take the vert's weight. The HA's springs are 6k front and 8k rear.

Been driving around with them on since March 2002, and it's been fantastic. Before I installed them the car tend have a little roll and a bit of oversteer on the mountains (I usually go to Topanga and Angeles Forest), now it's very neutral...very little roll.

The HA's are 16 way adjustable, but 10 front and 10 (or maybe 11) rear is already more than enough for serious "spirited driving" on the bends. It's definitely not a track set-up, but for mountain driving it's more than adequate. And the fact that they're adjustable means that the car is still drivable on LA's road surfaces.

All in all a beautiful experience with the product. Best 1k I've ever spent on a car. Sorry if this sounds like an ad, but I am so happy with their performance that I feel the need to share with you all.

Anybody with a similar (or not so similar) experience with TEIN's or other set-ups?

A buddy of mine has Tein HA's for his 240sx, and it transformed that car into one of the best handling cars I've ever been in. Not only did it handle killer, it also RIDES great - not bouncy or uncomfortable.

I've got Tein's ready to go in my car when it gets back on the road .

wow, good news about tein. most everyone here in louisville keeps downplaying them with of course no real reasons. just they're green. been wondering how well they will hold up at autox and all out beating the car.

I have also heard good things about JIC-Magic; my friend has it on his S13, but the ride is super tough even on zero...

Yep the Tein HA's are great coilovers. So are the JIC. I have the FLT-A2's and I love them. The only bummer about the JIC's is the price . Both system are great. I also like how Tein is doing all that crazy adjustable control with a stand-alone computer . Got to love technology.
