Solenoids And Vacuum Rack???

Solenoids And Vacuum Rack???

I want to clean up my engine. If I remove the solenoids and vacuum rack will I have any problems??? I have an 87 t2 with ACV removed.

There are 5 solenoids.. of those 5 you only really need to keep 1 of them.. here's a break down:

EGR Solenoid: If you still have your EGR then keep it connected..If you don't, you can get rid of it.

Twin Scroll Solenoid: Must keep the solenoid unless you removed the twin scroll flapper from the manifold or have it wired open..

Switching solenoid: no ACV? no need for this..

Fuel pressure regulator: you can remove the solenoid as long as you run the vac line from the FPR to a source of vac somewhere else

Relief Solenoid: no ACV? no need for this

There you go.. as you can see.. you don't really need much after you get rid of the acv
