sold vert and bought a honda!

well i sold my vert about 2 weeks ago and bought a honda accord. the vert will be missed, but it just didnt have the cargo space a college kid needs.

so i bought a 94 honda accord EX with a 2.2 ltr v-tec SOHC motor.

got the car for 1600 bucks, with a almost mint leather interior and black exterior. exterior needs a little touchup.

hopefully this will be a fun car to rice out and make fun of ricers with... im thinkign of making it an APC team car LOL LOL LOL.

oh well, i hope to either have anohter rx7 during summer or a supra turbo. i havent given up on the rotary yet!.. just temporarily. ill still hang out on the board and laugh at dumb posts.

peace
scott

1994 accord EX - so it's a 4 cylinder then

I've driven this car. Good low end, fades in the middle of the powerband though.

Jordan Honda F1 car?&nbsp Sure, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Speaking of which, Hot Wheels released a 1/64 scale of those yellow race cars!

Aw man, you should just drop a 13BT or a 20B in that bad boy. Then you'd have an awesome car again. (/end blind rotary love).

Seriously, my college car was an '81 Dodge Aries Wagon 4 speed. While it wasn't anything but transportation, I never had a problem luggin all my college posessions around and it never stranded me. It never ran perfect, but it always ran.

heY! i havent dont drugs for at least 4 months..LOL

im not a ricer in denial. im sure you have all seen my car before.. definitly not rice. www.scottym.com

the only reason i bought the honda is because it was cheap, in good condition, and they run for like 250k miles and will take a beating. good for college.

when you got a gay honda you gotta make it look silly. i mean thats what they are there for.

and yes its a 4cly v-tec and it is SLOW! prolly on par with my 16.8 sec vert! but oh are the seats comfy. dont worry i will be rotating again soon, but this time hopefully with some boost.

The only reason a Honda runs forever is beacuse people are willing to dump tons of cash to keep them on the road. Any car with the right maintenance will run for a very long time.
Well `cept Ford.

Please keep in mind that he is going to school to get educated, once he graduates ( if the fool ever does) he will regret his decision to replace that collector car with a flash in the pan grocery getter.

actually isn't the 94 EX trim accord a DOHC engine? I know because i used to drive a 94 Accord LX (canadian version, we have an extra trim level between teh base and top of the line... with the EX-R the only one with VTEC). THe non vtec one isn't bad... I like my old 94 accord myuch better then my 2002 Accord.. Stupid sister totaled the car. I drove that car without mercy! Sigh the good old days

Could be true but then again, anyone would need more money to get drunk if he/she was driving an accord let alone trade an FC for such car......
It's just don't make sense.!..... hehehe.. No hate here!

you all make me laugh. i sold my vert for 3500 bucks and bought the accord for 1600. so i got money not to pay off all those college books on my credit card. i sold my vert origionally to look for a turbo 2. i looked for an fc t2 as far as california and gave up on finding a good one for a price i could afford. then i looked for a supra... same problem. plus i neeed a car really soon because of my new job i didnt expect to get.

oh yeah, i forgot to mention, i also sold the vert because of its ability to attract attention. if any of you have been in college, the large parking lots you must leave your car in for weeks at a time are not very secure and there is a lot of vandalism. i can only count the amt of times ive gone out to my car and found it covered with beer boxes, etc. **** the week before i sold the damn car someone kicked in my rear tail light.

dont worry, when i get out of college im going to get a nice rx-8 or a 3rd gen.

yeah, and my rx7 with all its mods was pushing like MAYBE 15mpg.. id go thru almost a half of a tank just driving the 2 hrs to school.

***The only reason a Honda runs forever is beacuse people are willing to dump tons of cash to keep them on the road. Any car with the right maintenance will run for a very long time.
Well `cept Ford.***

show me a rx7 that will run forever without a rebuild..LOL

***Please keep in mind that he is going to school to get educated, once he graduates ( if the fool ever does) he will regret his decision to replace that collector car with a flash in the pan grocery getter.***

when i get out of college i plan on making 60k-100k right out, so i dont think ill be looking at old sports cars..

dont worry i havent given up on the mazdas yet...
oh yeah the guy i sold it to owns an fb, so i know he will take care of it as good as i have.

peace
scott
