hi,i have the 2version of rx7 86 year non turbo 110 kw engine. the problem with the car is low power. after a check by qualified person he found the reason inside the fuel injection control block. as you know the car has primary and secondary injectors.the computer has blocked the operation process of the secondary ones fully.they dont work at all. we found it is done by the processor but we can't understand why.do you know how do they operate( what's the right way ) ,do they have some common malfunctions , do you know about other people who had similar problems and any solutions of them.before some time the car suddenly turned into its full power but it was for short. after that the things came to the previous condition. we tested all other elements of the fuell system including replasement of them ( i have some second hand spares) but nothing changed. now i'm almost sure the problem is inside the electronic block and it going to be a software problem. i have an old non working block of the same model and after a check i found the e-prom ( the memory element) was changed with another one( russian i thing) but it's not reliable looking so i dont want to risk with it. do you know about typical for this model problems with the software.as i know after so many year the electronic components go worn,old etc. so may be it needs a new e-prom and software. could you give me any help or advises about where to find a good software from a well functioning electronic block from a reliable source.can your company provide this?i live in bulgaria( eastern europe) and its difficult to find such a car in my country.( and of course the software).thank you in advance .my name is nikolay and my email is n_kodrev@yahoo.com

There are some tests you can perform to check the secondary injectors. They are in the Haynes manual, and the factory service manual. You can view and download the factory service manual at:
