so selling my FC but 1st

got a new batt N alt
n now its pulling this whole flooding issue , i can smell the gass its cranking but not starting

every once N a while it WILL start, it runs rough for about 5 seconds than dies

im confused as to what this is.

it ran just perfectly before, but starting has been an issue from the start

Did the battery die on the car and then you tried starting it? Right now your car sounds flooded, remove the ecu/egi fuse and crank it over for a while, then put it back in to start. If that doesn't help, take out and clean the plugs - and include turning over engine with egi fuse out.

If this has been happening a lot you could have a leaky injector, a vacuum leak, or as sj mentioned your engine compression may be decreasing.
