So.. I'm visibly losing oil... but dipstick says i'm not?

I did a thermal pellet install from atkins. I haven't yet been able to get the front pulley to seal correctly. Its leaking oil even though it has a new seal and copper crush washer and sealent.

I can visibly see oil in the pulley (where its cupped and angled a bit). A good table spoon or so of oil there. I have emissions removed and PVC is open ventalated so there is blowby covering the entire passenger side of the engine.

So... the driveway is covered in oil spots.

I just whent on 1100 mile roadtrip.

The dipstick still says I have full oil? I don't want to overfill... but it feels like I should have lost alot. Its been about 2 weeks~~2000 miles since I noticed any change on the dipstick (was just below the first line under the F on the dipstick). I put in about a cup of oil and figured it was fine.

So where is all of this oil coming from?

You probably haven't lost as much as you think, why not redirect the pvc to the charcoal canister or something a little less messy? If the oil's not going down any in the pan, you can't be losing all that much!

Yeah.. I guess it just seriously looks like alot. Especially on the driveway. I planned on making a catch can today-- got sidetracked though.

Are you sure it's engine oil? My power steering fluid leaks all over the place and it looks just like regular engine oil.
