yeah, i know this is covered in the sticky, and assuming that this is the problem, what i wanna know is do i have to replace the switch or can it be repaired and how long would it take to do.
Only reason i ask is 'cos i am away from home atm. and i usually drive distance at night.

forgot to mention that the dash light comes on and off at random, even when the car is stationary and i'm not moving in it i.e. not hitting stuff to find loose wires. Sometimes poping the lights up and down solves it, sometime indicating solves it....

 

Change the ILUM fuse in the fuse box, 15amp.

 

Hehe, mine acts up whenever any girls get in my car, other than that, it never has that happen. I think she's just jealous that I let girls ride in her. She wants ALL my love.
