Do you have PB Blaster? If you're not using it, I highly suggest that you pick yourself up a can.

Damn dude, I had an 86 base model, but now I got a 91 gtu , no need for the 5 lug swap, I use to envy guys with sport packages when I use to see them on the street, but now, I don't need to!

Air tools my friend.

We did the front left by hand, took us 3.5 hours. Did the front right with air, took us 35 minutes. That includes re-bleeding the breaks on the new setup.

Im about to get started on my conversion. all airtools here though. the only part im shaky about is the brakes. ive never really done any major brake work, so im gonna make sure i have someone with more experience helping me out. Just reminded me to go search for a write-up.

Wise investment. You will use them for years.

However, don't be like a young client of mine. He used an electric impact to put his lug nuts on. Stripped at least 2 studs on each wheel.

Impacts are for removal, not installation and torqueing. Unless of course you have calibrated torque sticks.

You can shoot lugs on with an impact gun, just shoot them on lightly, then actually set torque with a torque wrench... I guess that's something that takes some practice though.
