I saw this on the rotors. About the same size. I know the detail is low but could you guys give me your opinion on what you see. You are looking at the front rotor on a streetported '91 TII engine. Thank you.

my guess is that it is a hot spot. do you run normal timing, or somewhat advanced?

Here is the situation on the engine. It is a rebuilt engine that was running about 12lbs of boost with the needed fuel (720CC 2ndarys, S-Afc, Walboro fuel pump). About 1500 miles into its life it started having low oil pressure. 10 PSI at idle and 55 psi at 3000 rpm. Also of concern was the needle on the oil pressure gauge was not steady. It would flucuate. Not solid like a oil pressure reading should be. This was read off of a mech. oil pressure tester. So now the engine is being sent back with 2100 miles on it. I am praying and hoping this is a warrenty repair.

I believe that mark is from the spark plugs. Where it may be the hottest. It burns carbon off right there. on the rotor.
