So I have my sunroof assembly off....

Does anyone know if there is some kind of adjustment that I can make to make the 2 sides line up. I found out after taking the whole assembly out of the car that the right side is about a quarter of an inch closer to the front of the car throwing the sunroof out of alignment and as a result it wont open or close all the way. Also for those of you who have cleaned out the tracks and stuff did you take each rail completely apart or just clean it while it was intact?

Nope there isnt anything in the FSM (about the Sunroof anyway )

I have never done this on my Rex, but on my Civic I just cleaned the tracks while they were intact.....and as for lining up, I just figured it out after staring for the mechanism for about 20 minutes (and after making 2 mistakes -of course )

it is real simple. take the motor out. then close the sun roof by hand. so it is seated right. then slide the motor back in and tighten it all up. now you have an aligned sunroof.

and yes take out each rail and hose it down with carb cleaner and every other solvent you have. make sure you re greeeese everything up real well.
