Thumbs up So I change my shifter bushings last night...

I followed the mazdatrix page you guys were kind enough to point out... I took the shifter out, and there was NO sign of any bushings... Not even little chips or anything... I can't believe how awesome my shifter feels.

On a side note, I was going to buy the new "bushing kit" on eBay, but then decided to call my local dealer for the parts... The guy on eBay is selling them for 20-25 bucks every time they are up for auction... They cost me $15.50 at the dealer... Not all "new" parts on eBay are good deals.

Yeah I hear u man. I just put a new clutch in my car along with a Mazdatrix short shifter and I am BLOWN away with how nice my shifter feels now! I too had no bushings in there when I took it out.....I guess they burned up? thanx for the info on the bushing kit btw it will come in handy when these bushings go out on me.

Cool
im in desperate need for busgings myself but im amazed at how much you paid. The last time i bought bushings i bought the whole set from victoria british and i remeber it cost me like maybe 40 bucks or so.
Which kit did you get just the bushings or the whole set ie; boot, bushings and ****??

Just the bushings are $15.50. If you need new boots, the price goes up.

Change your tranny fluid to some redline or royal purple and it will be even better.
