Snapped an axle...dammit

So after my LSD and carrier assembly swap (S4 GXL Auto LSD to S4 SE 5 spd, retaining the 4.10's) I went for my first test drive today.

Car drove perfectly fine, nice and smooth, no whining, backlash is set nicely. Then I did the real test to see if the LSD worked, burnout.

Both tires definitely hooked up, for about a half second, and then my rear dr. side halfshaft snapped. Gay. Will be replacing it in a few days. I have a feeling that it was mostly due to old age, the car has 151k on the chassis. Oh well.

I have an extra pair of half shafts if you need one. Also, the S4 GXL auto LSDs were 3.90 final drive, not 4.1.
