smoking turbo?
I just dropped in my new reman and BNR to4 hybrid.
I have all new oil lines etc.
The turbo starts smoking once the motor gets up to operating temps. It's only a little smoke.
I'm thinking maybe from my greasy hands touching that stuff while putting it together and once it heats up it strarts smoking? Not sure though.
I've had that happen on rebuilds/motor swaps before (lots of piston engine jobs under my belt) but I've had very limited turbo charged car experience.
What should I look for?
BTW no smoke out the tail pipes or dripping.
