Excess oil in the intake from sitting. It's common.

is it a stock exhaust? if so, it might be the material inside the mufflers burning up

Lol I have the same problem too. I guess it's a common thing but just scares the crap out of me. It's a lot of smoke though that you guys get too though right? Once your car is warmed up it goes away? What about when you guys floor your car? By the way my car is a s4 n/a. Do you guys still have your OMP? When I bought my car it had already been removed I might just have the 2cylce/gas mixture wrong. Sorry didn't mean to hi-jack your thread.

13Bs are notorious for floodng problems, it could be a number of things. might be bad seals or something. or it could be something minor like residual oil from sitting

...that's really vague...

I'm going to guess you were talking about water seals.

Did the coolant level go down mysteriously over time?

It is common to see a little smoke from the tailpipes at startup, but that should dissipate after a few seconds--certainly less than a minute. If the smoke is massive and lasts 20 minutes as you say, it is more than a little buildup of fuel-oil from an over-rich startup. If the smoke is truely white and smells kind of sweet, the engine likely has an internal coolant leak requiring an engine rebuild or replacement. Keep a close check on your coolant level to verify.
