I have a 1989 RX-7 GTU with over 161,000 miles with an automatic transmission. Not sure of actual mileage because the speedo stopped working a few months ago. It had a Mazda reman engine installed in 1999 at 131,000 miles. Also had the trans rebuilt the same year.

Now the bad news, it's leaking oil down the front of the engine. Causing it to smoke real bad under the car when it's sitting still. The motor starts right up, but won't idle on it's own after it warms up. I drove the car 20 miles today and as long as I kept blipping the throttle it runs. It also seems to hestitate at times when accelerating.

It has a dent in the qtr panel above the driver side rear tire and the ac is unhooked. Other then that, it looks to be in prettty decent shape.

Now here's my question. I don't want to put any money into it, so I'm wondering what it's worth as is?

Has anyone purchased something similar? I thought of putting it on ebay, but not sure if I would want to sell it without someone looking at it first. Thoughts?
