car came with no cats has headers and exhaust and no cat... i work at a exhaust place so can i just put in 2 cats and have it passed or 1 would do it?

 

Do you live around glendal CA or glendal in another state? In CA they are going to want to look under your hood so your header would fail the visial part of the smog test. If your car runs okay you can problely pass smog with one main cat, but again since your primary cat is gone the smog guy might fail you. I pass the CA smog 5 times with just one cat but my car is in pretty good running condition. Good Luck!
