Slow acceleration and stalling.

Hey guys so I'm new to rotary! Only owning both my 89 (drivable) and 90 (doesn't move) I am having issues with my 89s acceleration. It almost loses all power when I do the initial take off. And it is very very slow to get moving. But once I'm past 3500 rpm it is more manageable. And same with 2nd gear it drops about 1000 to 1500 rpms and takes forever for it to get going again. Then the fastest I can get it going is 3rd gear 4500 rpms flat ground then it slows way down and I might be lucky to get it to 5000. And that's as fast as it will go. Any ideas on what I might need to do or check to see as to why I can't get it going better?

clogged catalytic converter is my first guess.
Followed by Limp mode seeing it is an S5.
try reading codes on the car..here: http://www.banzai-racing.com/FD_S5_error_codes.htm

limp mode makes it nearly impossible to get past 3k, so i'd pitch that idea.

i suspect

clogged cat(s)
fault primary injector clips
stuck closed primary injector
blown engine

It will rev up to 7000 rpm in 1st and 2nd but once in third it won't pass 5000 and it's just super slow to accelerate

take a video of how it's running and we could likely tell you if both rotors are firing.
