Slight problem with cold start
I cant seem to find the answer to this problem..
First off, how long is the car supposed to hold it's 3000RPM cold start? When I first got the 87 N/A it would hold it for a few minutes then slowley go down, now it just revs to 3k for about 5 seconds then slowley drops and try's to stall. Then I tap the gas beofore it does stall and magically it runs fine.
It also does this if the car is warm. on start it will rev up then go down and try to stall out untill I tap the gas.
The car starts right up and idles perfectley every time almost instantley.. it just likes to stall out unless I tap the gas before it does, then everything is fine.
the compression should be really good, considering it's strong and always starts up right away, and it's 100% stock under the hood.
