Slick 50?

I love the stuff, use it in almost every car I've had. Though since the RX-7 is a Rotary I was wondering if it would be good for it.

The current quaker state based Slick50 is pretty useless and has been shown by Consumer Reports testing to actually increase engine wear.

I would not recommend it's use.

The Old slick 50 from the 70's and 80s was much better and was more than just teflon dumped into a low grade oil.

You're being scammed.

Even DuPont (the inventors of Teflon) sued Slick50 to prevent them from touting all kinds of bullshit.
DuPont has never claimed Teflon will help decrease friction in an internal combustion engine.
In fact, DuPont warned that Teflon can build-up and clog small passageways that can KILL an engine due to oil starvation.
I dunno if Slick50 redid their formula, but you don't hear TEFLON screaming in their advertisements anymore...
