when they're half way up, smash them with a hammer. this takes skill with a hammer as well as excellent timing. doing it without either will produce uneven results between the 2 sides.

Just thought it would be funny to tell you about the time i did it with out pulling the retractor. i twisted the *****, and the headlights went up and down.. RIGHT ON MY FINGER! I love sleepy eye drift cars

Ok.. that's enough. The best thing we can do is just stop posting in this thread. The question at hand has been answerd. That is good enough. He has the right to say his share on the aesthetic quality of this head light modifacation. If he dosen't like it fine, that is his prerogative. An admin can close this thread before it gets worse.
