Question Skyline R32 Radiator?

Firstly i would like to point out to that haters that i used the (advanced) search function trying to find the answers to this, but couldn't find anything on the topic

I have heard that the R32 Skyline radiator fits in the FC with some modification, has anyone done this? I have a few questions about this for those who have or are in the know.
  • What modifications are needed to fit this?
  • Is this actually an upgrade stock TII v stock R32?
  • Regarding previous questions - is it worth it?
  • Does anyone know if the coolant pipes for both radiators are like for like size?

Reason i ask is that i live in Cyprus and am interested in upgrading the cooling (radiator) system and the obvious Koyo radiator upgrade is a bit pricey, so i am researching cheaper upgrade options. I can get hold of a R32 aftermarket radiator for around £100($150) including shipping, but i don't want it to cause more problems than it solves.

Thanks

First post tells:

a Skyline rad will work just as well and although the water pipes are slightly smaller it will fit very nicely. The water hose connections are on the same sides and only a slight mod be done to the top hose to fit. Its a cheaper option considering you can get a 52mm thick uprated one for about £120. Even a standard one will fit but the overall volume is less but has been proven to work very well.

It's also a pretty good reference thread for interchangeable parts for a FC.

I knew i read it somewhere, but when i searched on mrc i never found it. Probably better to get a replacement Koyo then as i wouldn't know where to start with moving the battery and would only cause myself more problems.

Thanks for the info mate.

Shipping is quite expensive for things that size, cheaper to get it from the UK i think. Appreciate the input.
