Size of pistons/disc in 4 piston caliper setup?
Hello. If someone has a 5 lug setup handy- can you tell me the size of the pistons in a 4 pot front caliper (are they all the same size?) and the diameter of the disc?
Thanks
Ben

The FSM has the spec posted in the Technical section.
For some odd reason, I keep thinking it was 1.30" x 2, but I know this is not the same number in the FSM.
Front disc is 10.9".
Thickness is 22mm new - 20mm min spec.
Big brake kit?

Hey. I'm inadvertantly about to do a 5 lug conversion. The T2's front disc rotor is 10 3/4 in. in diameter. The pistons in the front caliper is 1 3/4 in. Hope it helps.

Here is the thread, apparently the numbers are straight from the FSM (my FSM is 350 miles away, damnit)

Ted- I'm trying to adapt the Stoptechs I had on my Honda to my FC racecar.
The Honda brake setup has higher torque values all around vs. the FC, which means the F/R bias goes to hell in the FC when the Stoptechs made for the Honda are added.
My 2 options are to go with larger rears to get the F/R torque bias back in line, or work with Stoptech to get another set of calipers with less torque value. I'm waiting for Stoptech to get back to me at the moment.
I may just sell the Stoptech setup if the new calipers are too costly and adapt a Wilwood setup up front. Damnit.
Thanks again for the help guys.
