are you serious? the anti-gun laws got so sick in OZ that you can't even have a semi-auto paintball gun? That blows. You should look into getting a super-pump or whatever they call it then... bascially, it's an autococker(are you familiar with the design? It's a pump gun at heart, but with an air valve and piston so that when you pull the trigger it re-***** the pump action mechanism using air pressure), but instead of the valve being rigged to the trigger, it's rigged to a pump, sounds like unneeded complication but the advantage is you only have to move the pump about 2 or 3 mm and it takes very little force

Personally i run a ICD Bushmaster 2000 with lots of internal work done to it by the Iron Maidens in the US, the marker is custom annod and OMFG does this baby hum. it'll happily purr out 11bps with no hiccups what so ever

To play Paintball, fullstop, you need a Shooter's License, and the Cops basically *will not* hand one out to you unless you are a ******* Freemason or something. As for getting a Fully Automatic Paintball Gun, well, they'd basically raid your house as soon as they could find you, and hurl the full force of the law at you. The disarmament policy in this Orwellian shithole, the only *free* country on Earth where you are FORCED to vote, is outta control.
You know things are getting totally fucked when they are even trying (and this is no word of a lie) to legislate against Vitamins. That's right! Plain old Vitamins.
They *must* have some kind of Malthusian logic behind it, (healthy people live to be old, old people waste resources, so let people die when they cease to be productive to save resources etc)
In short, Australia, (and Canada as well from what i gather) are becoming fucked totalitarian shitholes, and the only news we get is Reuters or CNN propaganda, it is becoming just like Orwell's little nightmare, and i'm glad that i'll be wrapped around a telephone at high speed before they force ME to carry ******* Identity Papers (yes, Bob Hawke tried it b4 with the euphemistically named "Australia Card", and they are planning to have another hack at it soon)

Man, this topic is kinda getting into the lounge category, but as i understand it, guns are outlawed in th UK, too. I remember seeing a 1/2 hour program about it, and people were some kind of pissed. No surprise the show was produced by the NRA, but it still was disturbing. Personally, I don't own a gun, but I like that I am at least guaranteed by law that I could if I so desired. At least, for now I am.
