Simplest clutch job

What combination of procedures would make swapping my new clutch in without pulling the motor the easiest? *bump*

theres no reason to pul the motor at all... its way more work to pull the engine.

hers what u do for cluthc job. remove part of the exhaust that blocks the trany and driveline, drain trany, remove driveline, remove starter( dc battery first), undo thigns that plug into trany wires, speedo cable), remove the slave cylander from trany( dont push clutch or u will shoot the piston out of it!), take out bell housing bolts and cross member bolts, voila trany is down. u now can change the clutch.

pull off pressure plate and clutch, inspect the flyhweel if its not all messed up i wouldnt bother resurfacing it. as its QUITE hard to remove, 2 1/8th nut, a good air gun is required, or a flywheel stop and an insane breaker bar its torqued to like 275ft lb.

check your piolot bearing also. then reassemble inr everse order.
