Question simple question

I was just wondering if you can swap an s5 n/a tranny onto a s4 n/a, without changing the clutch, or worrying about the bolt holes not lining up, thanks.

itl bolt up motor wise but the cross member is different, the s5 tranny has 4 bolts holding the cross member on to the tranny where the s4 has only two, what i di to get around that was swap rear tranny housings,
