Simple Engine Question

Really simple, I want to clean up my engine while it is apart. I want to know if it's safe to take it to the pressure-washer @ the car wash. I know that you can't use some abrasives on the chromium in the housings, I just want to know if it's safe to do without damaging the housings.

Ok... it's not a hard question.

Would the "Engine Cleaner" at a car wash hurt the Chromium on the rotor housings?

Not a real problem, engine's out of the car, and in peices. Thanks a lot, I'm getting work done tomorrow, and don't want to deal with the hassle of "cleaning charges". Also, I don't want to get my friend's FC dirty. Really, thanks.

Uh, how are you going to actually access in insides of the rotor housings where the chromium layer is at...

That's some serious STRONG pressure washing!
