so i did the vacuum hose swap and ran short by like 2 feet. cut a little long, cut a little short etc and here we are. Im tired of paying like 4.50 a foot for this stuff so ive been searching for a site that has decent color selection (i want black cause i want an all stock look) and i stumbled on this.

its just my opinion, which is worth what you say it is- but the only color for those hoses should be black, no matter what color engine. Cant stand bright hoses that jump out at you

 

I agree, a little bit of color goes a long way in a bay.
Especially egregious are colored hoses haphazardly strung all over the place (sometimes by necessity and sometimes by laziness).

and aside from price alone what makes you think that this would somehow be less than equivalent?

 

it may be fine, i was just stating that i have seen silicone hoses which have high absorption rates for fuel and oil which swelled the hoses and then they would slide off of nipples with ease. it was more often than not the thick walled silicone that did this versus the higher quality hose techniques hose materials.
