Thumbs down Sigh. The amount of BS that my engine brought.

Go back in history, see that I got a free rebuild at 110,000 km's. Yes, free in this case as well as most every other case led to this series of problems.

1) My horrible midrange power loss was due to my 6-ports being frozen closed. Not due to crud filling the actuator chamber, or even electrical. The retard that rebuilt my engine (!!!) dropped the engine on the actuators, bending them permanently. And then left it as-is.

2) I specifically told him that he was to do a FULL engine rebuild, and I would pay the difference of what the used car dealership was paying out. He then turns around, rebuilds ONLY the blown rotor, doesn't change ANY gaskets, and bolts everything back on (after crushing the wiring harness and causing a mild engine fire that killed all my instruments. My thermo still doesn't work.)

3) The original intake manifold gasket that he "replaced" is causing a massive vacuum leak (so massive that my RPM sits at 1200 with the screw dead to the bottom) due to a crack the size of a screwdriver head.

Now, I have a Global Warrantee with the Seals/Gaskets package, and I'm trying to find out whether this will be covered, since he left the original gasket on after the service. Also, could I conceiveably take him to court for putting the engine out in worse condition than it went in? This will run me a bit of cash (labor already is adding up) and I'm looking to stay out of debt for at least another month

Thanks.

i dont think that you can take him to court over something that was done for free. Unless it was some sort of deal that was a trade or something.
but you prob could do something b/c of the fire

And i wouldnt let this guy change my oil anymore if i was you.

No-name company (probably a backyard jackass) that was hired by Milani Used Auto. Figures.

Guy that's repairing? Chris, the RX-7 Guy (apparently he's known by this? hehe) This guy just owns. He's given me so much advice and help when I had no clue what to do. When the engine pop warranty hell happened, he advised on how to go, and that ended up getting me a free (if half assed and horrible) rebuild.

And I change my own oil, thank you :p

man i would just torch the place, but that may just get you a couple years for arson? (only if you get caught) And the oil change comment was just a dumb one trying to show how incompitant this guy must really be and what a ripoff he's running, You should atleast report his *** to someone that could do something about it.

You can take him to court to recoup fees you will have to pay. Even though he charged you nothing he was still negligent.
