side skirt for a FC... question bout the type of one

Hey guys

For the life of me, i have searched this forum trying to find the answer to this. I am looking for a set of side skirts that arent full length, they just do like a foot just before the rear tire. Anyone know the name?brand? or anything about those.
i can find a pic of one later have i have on my computer... somwhere...

thanx

Never heard of or seen the style you're talking about.....perhaps they were a one-off or a custom design?

That is part of the Sports aero package, found on the 86-87 Sport, the 88 GTU and 88 Turbo.

I believe the parts manual lists these items as side spoilers. The parts illustration numbers are 519B0 (R) and 519C0 (L). The corresponding parts numbers are FB0-51-9B0A (R) and FB01-51-9C0A (L). There are also attachement hardware items that are separate. If you really want them, check the dealer. You'd be amazed at what you can still get.
