side mouldings

im replacing the side mouldings on my car with the 89+ on my 88 but some of the clips are broke off..whats a good adhesive to get htem to stick? i got the 3M at the parts store and it dont work to well

Check out your local auto parts store. Most of them sell double faced molding tape that will do the job.

I just "restuck" the moldings on my '87 TII. The 3M molding tape will work well if you follow the directions . The key is to use a hair dryer to heat the metal and the plastic. When you put that tape on the warm CLEAN parts it practically melts to their surface. Seems to be holding great.
